Why this works
Vocabulary grows through retrieval + use + spacing — the strongest combination in the learning science. Reading a definition fades; producing the word in your own sentence, again and again as it comes due, doesn't.
Words are drawn from an academic (Tier-2) list with checkable definitions, and scheduled with a spaced-repetition algorithm (FSRS-style).
